SIAE is a non-profit Registered Society floated and founded in assistance with Syamaprasad College, Kolkata 700026. SIAE is exempted from Income Tax for life-time u/s 12A. Donations to SIAE are exempted u/s 80G of the Income Tax Act.  SIAE is also an approved Institute for taking direct Foreign Contribution under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India.
