Syamaprasad Institute of Advanced Education (SIAE) has proposed to launch B.Ed college at New premises of SPC under CU with due approval of NCTE.

In order to facilitate the programs of SIAE following assistance from the State and Central Govt. has been achieved by SIAE.

1. FCRA Registration (under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 1976) :

Vide Registration No. 147110654/ Nature: Cultural, Educational, Social Dated 9 th August, 2004. By this order SIAE can accept any amount of foreign donation directly at its Band a/c on the specific purpose as mentioned above [i.e. on any Cultural, Educational, Social program]

2.Registration u/s 12A of IT Act 1961

Vide No DIT(E) /S-56/8E/102/04-05 Dated: 06.08.2004. By this order of IT Dept all the income of SIAE is absolutely exempted from the purview of Income Tax till the SIAE exists.

3.Exemption u/s 80G of IT Act: Vide order No DIT(E) /421/8E/102/04-05 Dated 06.08.2004

By this order 50% of the donations made by SIAE shall be exempted. This order is valid up to 31.03.2006. Renewal is to made after 31.03.2006.

4. Exemption of Stamp Duty & Registration Fee by Govt. of West Bengal .

SIAE has purchased its own land 04 bighas. The land is situated at a posh area at Karunamayee near Tollygunge Metro terminus. The proposed college will be shifted over there within a short time. The govt of West Bengal has exempted 75% of the total registration fees and stamp duty on public interest. Vide copy: (a) No 2125-FT dated 16 th June 2004 & (b) No. 119-FT Dated 18 th January 2005.
